TO VIEW THE MTOA PREFERRED MARINAS DIRECTORY, PLEASE LOG IN AS A MEMBER!
To receive designation as an MTOA Preferred Marina a marina must first be nominated by a member. Nominated marinas must deliver consistent, high quality service, pricing commensurate with location and facilities, and make good on advertised amenities. They must be willing to offer and honor preferred rates/discounts of transient dockage and/or fuel to MTOA members in good standing. Many of our Preferred Marinas offer additional incentives to our members including but not limited to: store discount; service discount; donation of a free night stay or other prize for Rendezvous participants; complimentary welcome gift; complimentary pump out or discounts for local shopping and/or restaurants. Preferred Marinas execute a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding that ensures good communication. Being a Preferred Marina costs nothing above the agreed discounts and provides a notable value in marketing to your marina!
· The Benefits to Preferred Marinas:
- Listing in MTOA’s online Preferred Marinas directory with logo, description, pictures, offered discount in addition to contact and reservation info.
- Exposure in the daily List Serv (up to2x per year)
- Listing in the quarterly Turtle Times magazine and mentions at select MTOA events.
- 20% discount for all ads placed in Turtle Times magazine.
- Receive at least 2 copies of each issue of Turtle Times magazine.
- One selected Preferred Marina each quarter gets spotlighted in Turtle Times at no cost.
- Certificate of Designation/Appreciation plus additional signage/stickers for display at their place of business.
- Right to display MTOA Preferred Marina logo at place of business and on electronic media including website and other print advertising.
· Preferred Marina Commitments:
- Offer and honor agreed-upon discounts/special considerations to MTOA members in good standing.
- Maintain quality service standards.
- Participate in occasional promotional features or interviews for MTOA media.
- Display MTOA Preferred Marina Certificate and window sticker at place of business and display MTOA Logo on website with optional hotlink to MTOA website home page.
- Notify MTOA of changes in business operations, ownership or discount.
We encourage MTOA members to support MTOA Preferred Marinas as they cruise and on social media.
