To receive designation as an MTOA Preferred Marina a marina must first be nominated by a member.  Nominated marinas must deliver consistent, high quality service, pricing commensurate with location and facilities, and make good on advertised amenities.  They must be willing to offer and honor preferred rates/discounts of transient dockage and/or fuel to MTOA members in good standing. 

Many of our Preferred Marinas offer additional incentives to our members including but not limited to: store discount; service discount; donation of a free night stay or other prize for Rendezvous participants  as well.

Preferred Marinas execute a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding that insures good communication. Being a Preferred Marina costs them nothing above agreed discounts and provides a notable value in marketing with what MTOA brings to the table.

We encourage MTOA members to support our MTOA Preferred Marinas as they cruise and on social media.
