It’s a strange year to be a boat owner and club member, but here we are. We are going to conduct our planned cruise to Langford Bay Marina from Friday July 17 through Sunday July 19.
It’s a quiet marina, there is no restaurant, but the POOL is open.
First how are we handling Covid? You know that MD recommends masks, 6 foot separation, groupings limited to 10 or less. But you are all adults and I will not be enforcing these. If you feel sick that weekend or know you’ve been around someone with a confirmed case, we all expect you to stay home. Otherwise:
Schedule
Fri - After docking, BYO beverage to their covered pavilion. Bring your own appetizers, or bring enough food to share and everyone makes their own decision on what they will touch and eat. We’ll do dinner with your own food as well, on board or in the pavilion as you see fit.
Sat - Our dingy is getting a mouse hole repaired and it will be a few more weeks till it’s back, but if others want to explore the area by dingy that’s always fun. A day at the pool and chatting with our boating buddies before cocktail hour.
Debbie or Keith from the Marina can take a few of us into Rock Hall in their car. If any of you want to order take out from one of the restaurants for dinner, you’ll call in the order and we will pick them all up in a single run into town. We’ll start with happy hour, same as Friday, then dinner.
Sun - gather at pavilion with your coffee and your own breakfast or breakfast goodies to share at 900 if you have not left yet, for an optional Bible reading and share any prayer requests or praises we want to ask our cruise mates to pray for us. Then we head home or onto our next adventure.
