Our 2nd annual rendezvous will be taking place in two weeks. Check the MTOA calendar and sign up for all or part of the “Cruze”.
Here’s a synopsis of the calendar for the ‘cruze’ both at YRYH and then for our short cruise north.
7/18 Cruisers arrive Docktails to welcome everyone, cover events and schedule, get feedback on what we couldn’t fit in to see if we should substitute into the schedule.

10-1130 Signature Canvas rep
12-1400 Lunch
14-1600 Transport to Bull Island Brewery (Those not wanting to go can relax by pool, shop, or other activities especially if they signed up for work from one of our sponsors)
7/20 08-1200 Farmers Market in Yorktown (Some may prefer visiting some of the museums, taking a walking tour, or as a group renting a Segway for a guided tour of Yorktown and for some little known facts about the history of Yorktown.
1130ish Lunch at The Pub as usual!
13-1700? Mariners Museum (maybe on the 21st depending on member inputs)
7/21 Sunday is pretty open, we’re looking at several ideas such as pool time, lunch on the patio, games, couple presentations, antique shopping, West Marine, boat inspections, hull cleaning, light maintenance, oil changes, or wax/detail, etc. Several vendors lined up, just not sure if Sunday is a good day for most of them so we’ll slip them in among the other events. Spend today relaxing and catching up with new and renewed friendships!
1800ish Sunset Cruise—Possible Raft-up (Depending on weather, this event may take place a different day)
7/22 08-1600 Catchup day (Still awaiting responses from a few locals)

7/25 Cruze up Rappahanock to Sandy Beach Anchorage

We’re taking reservations now for slip and rendezvous participation. We also have local businesses supporting us and if you need a haul-out, light engine work such as oil changes, boat cleaning/waxing, or your running gear/bottom cleaning, canvas work, or other items—just let us know. We have abundant resources to include the boatyard and a nearby West Marine. The sooner you let us know, the sooner we can let the vendors put you on their schedule. They’re extremely busy but all of them expressed strong support for MTOA attendees during this cruise. Other activities include; Tow-Boat US, Curtis Stokes, Boat Safety Inspections, and others still in the planning phase such as meals and other social activities.
Email myself or Jim Novotny for questions, further details, or reservations.
